Exposition en Duo! A Duo Exhibition! (English below)

Venez voir l’exposition, INTERPRETATION, présentée en duo avec Ann Rochefort, artiste émérite. GALERIE ERGA, 6394 boul. St-Laurent, du 28 juin au 4 juillet, 2017.

Artistes  figuratifs, nous croyons qu’une peinture, peu importe le médium- l’huile, acrylique ou le pastel-se doit d’être une interprétation. Que ce soit du personnage, paysage ou une nature morte, vous sentirez qui nous sommes à travers une cinquantaine d’oeuvres que nous avons très hâte de vous dévoiler!

N.B. Le dernier jour de l’exposition, le 4 juillet, contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur l’affiche, la galerie sera ouverte de 10h à midi seulement.

jeudi et vendredi 29 et 30 juin, 10h à 20h  Vernissage le  jeudi : 18h à 20h, Venez en grand nombre!
samedi et dimanche, 1e et 2 juillet, 10h à 18h
lundi  3 juillet  10h à 18h, mardi 4 juillet 10h à midi.

Quelques précisions : Galerie Erga, 6394 St-Laurent, est dans la Petite Italie, juste au sud de Beaubien. Il y a du stationnement sur les 2 côtés de St-Laurent (avec parcomètres) et sans parcomètres sur les rues avoisinantes. Par contre ces dernières ont beaucoup de vignettes pour les gens du voisinage. Il y a 3 stations de métro (deux à 7 rues de la galerie), au nord : De Castelneau, au sud : Rosemont (autobus montent St-Laurent qui est un sens unique vers le nord) et Beaubien à l’est. À quelques pas, on y trouve plusieurs cafés, boulangeries et restaurants pour une pause agréable.

Je serai présente à la galerie en tout temps sauf : le jeudi 29 et le samedi 30 (à partir de midi seulement) et le lundi le 3 juillet, toute la journée. Venez nous voir. Famille et amis sont bienvenus.

Come and visit our exhibition, INTERPRETATION, a duo with myself and Ann Rochefort, award-winning artist, at Gallery Erga, 6394 St-Laurent Blvd, June 28 to July 4, 2017. Family and friends, are all welcomed to our Opening (Vernissage) on the Thursday,  6 to 9 pm.

Both figurative artistes, we believe that regardless of the medium used-oil, acrylic or pastel- a painting must be an interpretation. Whether a figure, a landscape or a still life, you will have a sense who we are as you peruse some 50 works which we cannot wait to show you!

Here is some information which may be helpful: Gallery Erga, 6394 St-Laurent, is situated in Little Italy, just south of Beaubien. There is meter parking on both sides of St-Laurent and free parking on the side streets, although areas require the resident stickers. There are 3 metro stations (two are seven blocks away): De Castelneau, to the north and Rosemont, to the south. Buses run on St-Laurent, going North only, as it is a one way. Beaubien metro is 9 blocks away to the east. Many cafés, pastry shops and restaurants are steps away, for a  pleasant pause.

N.B. Contrary to what is on the poster, the 4th of July, the last day of the exhibition, the gallery will be open 10 am till noon only.

I will be present at the gallery at all times, except for: Thursday the 29^th and Saturday the 30^th I will be there starting from noon,  and Monday July 3rd I will be absent all day.
